(1) The Government of Nepal may make rules to implement the purpose of this Act.
(2) Without adversely affecting the generality of the rights given by sub-section (1), the Government of Nepal may make rules on the following subjects:-
(a) Regarding the formation and classification of the police force.
(b) Regarding the arrangements for the inspection of the police force.
(c) To determine the details and number of arms, uniforms, clothing and other necessary items to be provided to the police force.
(d) regarding the appointment of the officers and jawans of the police force.
(D1) Regarding having separate residential houses for male and female police personnel.
(D2) About Child Care Center.
(e) Regarding the establishment, management and arrangement of the police force in relation to the police equipment.
(f) regarding the distribution, deployment, activities and location of the police force.
(g) About prescribing the duties of police personnel of all ranks and categories and prescribing the manner and conditions for them to perform their respective rights and duties.
(h) About the arrangements for the police to bring information and gather information and disclose it.
(i) about qualifying the police in general and preventing abuse and negligence of their duties.
(3) The Inspector General of Police may issue orders regarding the matters written in sub-section (2) subject to the rules and orders issued by the Government of Nepal.
